Netcertpro and the Coastal Carolina Fair

Halloween is ALMOST here and for some of us that means tricks and treats, and for others that means it's time for the Coastal Carolina Fair! Did you know that Netcertpro provides support, WiFi, and that we work with the foundation throughout the year?

Happy October, Lowcountry! We are happy to see the cooler temperatures and are excited that this new month is bringing one of our favorite times of the year. Fair Season! We are so thankful to the community for supporting us and helping us grow since 2001, and it is our greatest pleasure to give back and work within the Lowcountry. One of our favorite community partnerships is working with the Coastal Carolina Fair.

The Coastal Carolina Fair isn't just fun and games for the whole family, it's an incredible nonprofit that has supported and benefited the community since 1957. Now in its 63rd year, it continues to do so. From the very beginning, the fair's goal was to raise money for local charities, scholarships, and community needs. Today, the proceeds of the fair go to amazing charitable organizations such as Meals on Wheels, Charleston and Dorchester Seniors, Canterbury House, Lutheran Hospice, and Habitat for Humanity. These contributions help to provide food, clothing, medical care, and shelter to those in need.

Flashback to 2010. That was the very first year we got involved and started working with the Coastal Carolina Fair. When we first began working with the fair, there was no network to speak of. All they had was empty conduits. That all changed once we got involved. We came in and built the entire infrastructure of the fair itself. All of the fiber, hardwire, and wireless networks. We install and support the nonprofit year-round, but during the fair itself our President, Jim Wilson, will put in about 200 hours of volunteer work towards the upkeep and maintenance of all the equipment. The opening of the fair is still almost two weeks away, and he has put in over 30 hours already, installing all the equipment needed to handle the ticketing systems for the whole park. In the early years, there were only two guys that did all the work - Jim being one of them. He shares a special award between himself and a good friend for making these original giant leaps for the fair and all the work the two of them did in those early years. Now the team has grown to four. We are proud to be apart of such an amazing organization that provides so much joy to attendees, and to those who benefit from its proceeds.

For those planning on attending this year, please remember how much your contributions are helping those less fortunate in our community. You also have an amazing fair to look forward to this year! The fair is continuing in its tradition of providing the best family-friendly entertainment and activities for all who attend. There is incredible entertainment every night, rides for all ages, competitions, contests, and of course FAIR FOOD! You will find exciting vendor booths both inside and out, as well as a farmers market. The fair also helps its corporate sponsors advertise and share their businesses with over 300,000 people every year.

We can't wait to see you there! If you see one of our team members, make sure you stop by and say hello. We wouldn't say no to a corn dog or an elephant ear, either!

You have the choice of buying tickets for the fair and rides at the gate, online, or Circle K Gas Stations! For more information, gate hours, special offers, a list of entertainment, events, and what to expect please visit the Coastal Carolina Fair's Website or Facebook Page!
